About Brendan and His Work
Brendan has a Master of Occupational Therapy from Curtin University (2005) and has worked extensively with individuals experiencing difficulties with psychiatric, intellectual and physical disabilities across Australia and in the U.K.
Brendan’s work is based around Recovery Principles and he makes use of techniques such as Motivational Interviewing, Health Coaching and Remotivation process to enable individuals to achieve their goals and self-manage their condition and manage valued daily activities.
Brendan specialises in working with individuals with volitional challenge and focusses on practical, client-centred ways to develop support networks, build skills and strengthen motivation through engagement in activity that holds meaning to the individual.
